FFCS boys defeat Cobleskill, 17-15

JOHNSTOWN - Brandon Koons rolled a 203-583 to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a 17-15 win over Cobleskill-Richmondville in a Colonial Council boys bowling match at Perry Lanes on Thursday.

Ethan Gifford posted a 171-465 for the Braves, while Lucas Squadrito added a 154-431.

Isaac Rys rolled a 176-480 to lead Cobleskill-Richmondville, which finished with a 2,465-2,455 advantage in total pins.

In the girls match, Cobleskill-Richmondville posted a 26-6 win over Fonda-Fultonville.

Frankie Madl led the Bulldogs with a 158-442, while Katerina Weingarten added a 160-423.

Angelique LaFreniere rolled a 139-372 to lead Fonda-Fultonville, while Pam Congdon posted a 136-362.

Cobleskill-Richmondville finished with a 2,257-1,341 advantage in total pins.
