Joan Bezio introduced her sister and new member, Lynn Johnson.
The reports of the secretary and treasurer were read and accepted.
Evie Leach noted that she volunteers to do taxes for Fulmont. Anyone that makes less than $50,000 a year can call to make an appointment and have their taxes done for free. They are located in Gloversville and Northville.
Edwards brought up things to do for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.
A Valentine's party will be held on Feb. 5, which is the next club meeting. It was decided to do a grab bag for $3 to $5. The idea was brought up to sign a card and place it it the grab bag so it's known who it is from. Doughnuts and breads will be served.
It was decided to go out for a St. Patrick's Day dinner.
The 2014 activities calendar will be made. If anyone has any ideas, let it be known at the next meeting.
Edwards read a letter from Hospice and will contact them to have a representative come to discuss what and who they are.
The cookie committee for the Feb. 19, meeting will be Leach and Joan Hime. Cupcakes will be made in honor of those having a birthday.
The meeting was adjourned. The prizes were won by Nancy Hayes, door prize; Hime, the 50-50; and Akey, $1, who returned it to the treasury.
Bingo was played.
