JOHNSTOWN - Fourth Ward Supervisor William Waldron will be honored by the New York State Association of Counties in a ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday at the Desmond Hotel in Albany.

According to NYSAC Communication Coordinator Nicole Correia, Waldron is being honored for graduating from the NYSAC Dennis A. Pelletier County Government Institute. The institute allows public officials to engage in informed, constructive and civil discussions on the current challenges they face as public servants. The comprehensive curriculum includes course work on government ethics, building consensus in a political environment, principles of county budget and finance, and public-sector labor/management relations.

The ceremony Monday will be conducted during the 2014 NYSAC Legislative Conference.
