Kathryn M. Argersinger

Miss Kathryn M. Argersinger of Wall Street, Amsterdam, died peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2014, following a brief illness. She was 69.

A lifelong city resident, Kathryn was born on May 10, 1944, the daughter of the late George and Lillian Luke Argersinger. She was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Kathryn worked for various mills before going to work for Montgomery County as a clerk. She was an avid reader who enjoyed being with her family. She will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her two sisters, Laura (Jim) Hillman Sr. and Janet (Bill) Aldinger; nieces, Carol (John) Heermance and Cathy (Brian) Vosburgh; nephews, Jimmy (Deb) Hillman Jr. and Bill (Stephanie) Aldinger; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol Mickels.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Maple Avenue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA or to the James A. Brennan Memorial Animal Shelter.
