H.S. Bowling Roundup: Mayfield boys split, girls sweep Canjo

CANAJOHARIE - The Canajoharie and Mayfield boys split their match and the Mayfield girls earned a sweep in Western Athletic Conference bowling action Thursday at Iroquois Lanes.

Bryanna Hammond paced the Lady Panthers with her 205-555 effort and Shelby Wilcox added a 157-448 triple.

Amy Reedy led the Canajoharie girls with a 186-498 effort and Kiara Putnam finished with a 173-480.

Mayfield won with a team total of 2,204-2,064.

Alex colby captured match-high honors with his 237-655 performance and Anthony Brandow added a 195-548.

Ryan Weaver led Canajoharie with his 212-551.

Mayfield won with a total of 2,641-2,576 as the teams split 2-2.

Big 10

Amsterdam 5, NDBG 2

AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam bowlers picked up the Big 10 victory over Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons 5-2 Thursday at Imperial Lanes.

The Rams won with a total pinfall of 3,596-3,556.

Marc LaBahn paced Amsterdam with his 225-633 series, while Janelle Irwin won match-high honors with her 258-661 series.

Amsterdam 7, Troy 0

TROY - Marc LaBahn rolled games of 202, 236 and 237, powering Amsterdam to a sweep of Troy at Uncle Sam Lanes on Wednesday.

Billy McGaffin posted a 213-624 for the Rams, while Jon LaBahn finished with a 210-602.

Devin Blaisdell finished with a 224-590 to lead Troy, while Andrew Clements posted a 212-569. Nick Seabury added a 236-546 for the Flying Horses.
