H.S. Wrestling Roundup: Amsterdam clinches Big 10 title

SCHENECTADY - The Amsterdam wrestling team clinched its ninth straight Big 10 title with a 58-19 win over Schenectady on Wednesday.

Evelio Homs (99 pounds), Chris Velazquez (106), Monty Carmona (132) and John Rivera (152) won by pinfall for Amsterdam (16-8 overall, 4-0 Big 10), while Erick Rivera (126) and Nelson Quinones (138) won by major decision.

Jorge Rivera (113), Brandon Lapi (145), Chris Garrison (195) and Francisco Alejandro (220) all won by forfeit for the Rams.
