ALBANY - The Amsterdam boys indoor track and field team won Sunday's Tri-County Indoor Track League at the University at Albany.
The Amsterdam girls finished second.
In the boys meet, the Rams won with a team total of 116.5 points, while Shaker (95 points) was second and Christian Brothers Academy (64) was third.
Izaiah Brown won the 300 meters with a time of 36.7 seconds, while Julian Gallup (38.6 seconds) was third, David Graveley (40.1 seconds) was fourth and Edgar Maldonado (41.3 seconds) was sixth.
Brown also won the high jump for the Rams with a leap of 6-0, while Maldonado (5-6) was third and Jose Perez (5-3) was fifth. Perez also placed third in the triple jump.
Graveley won the 55-meter hurdles for the Rams with a time of 8.5 seconds
In the 600 meters, Amsterdam's Gabe Fernandez won with a time of 1:34.0, while Andrew Druziak (1:35.8) was third.
Julian Gallup was second in the long jump with a leap of 19-1 1/4.
The team of Jared Gallup, Druziak, Lucas Dorr and Ryan Farley won the 4 x 200 relay for the Rams with a time of 1:46.3. The team of Graveley, Druziak, Julian Gallup and Brown won the 4 x 400 relay with a time of 3:45.7.
Jonathan Knack (5:12.4) was second in the 1,600 meters, Shane Derose was fifth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.1 seconds, and Alezey Rivera (31-11 1/4) was sixth in the triple jump.
Amsterdam also was second in the 4 x 800 relay, while the B team was fourth in the 4 x 400 relay.
In the girls meet, Shaker won with a team total of 141 points, while Amsterdam was second with 99 points. Ichabod Crane was third with 64 points.
In the 55-meter hurdles, McKenna Palczak won with a time of 9.9 seconds, while Cassandra Robataille was second with the same time. Robataille also was second in the high jump with a leap of 4-6, while Palczak was fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 28-10 1/2.
Branda Santana won the 300 meters for Amsterdam with a time of 47.0 seconds. She also won the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.5 seconds.
In the 1,500 meters, Olivia Lazarou won with a time of 5:19.6, while Chantel Dopp (5:46.4) was sixth. Lazarou also was second in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:26.4.
Caitlyn Adamchick (1:56.6) was fifth in the 600 meters, while Hannah Wollman (12-11) was fifth in the long jump.
Amber Richardson was second in the shot put for the Lady Rams with a throw of 28-4.
Amsterdam was second in the 4 x 200 and 4 x 800 relays.
