H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown posts sweep

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Jay Hadcock rolled a 246-691, leading Johnstown to a sweep of Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match at Kingpin's Alley on Monday.

Ben Empie posted a 257-581 for the Sir Bills, while Morgan Ruggeri added a 215-522. Alyssa Hadcock finished with a 189-503 for Johnstown.

Dillon Trapasso had a 201-548 to lead Glens Falls (1-47 Foothills), while Cody Putney had a 205-515.

Johnstown (41-7 Foothills) finished with a 3,290-2,793 advantage in total pins.

Hudson Falls 2 1/2, Broadalbin-Perth 1 1/2

AMSTERDAM - Zack Weller finished with a 225-620, leading Hudson Falls to a Foothiills Council win over Broadalbin-Perth at Kelly's Imperial Bowling Center.

Kobey Boyer rolled a 213-602 for the Tigers, while Matt Gardner added a 211-582. Scott Bennett finished with a 207-539 for Hudson Falls.

Ricky Munchbach posted a 266-631 to lead Broadalbin-Perth, while Chris Smith finished with a 212-586. Jordan Holik registered a 219-539 for B-P and Austin Corcuera added a 202-532.

Hudson Falls finished with a 3,304-3,229 advantage in total pins.

South Glens Falls 2, Gloversville 2

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Nick Ferrara finished with a 234-588, helping Gloversville earn a split against South Glens Falls in a Foothills Council match at Kingpin's Alley.

Tim Hoose rolled a 211-564 for the Huskies, while Richard Taylor added a 202-543. Seth Weeden finished with a 195-499 for Gloversville (20-28 Foothills).

Nick Fuller posted a 210-591 for South Glens Falls, while Michael Boyce had a 212-560. Brandon Vestal finished with a 203-547 for the Bulldogs.

South Glens Falls (27-21 Foothills) finished with a 3,246-3,112 advantage in total pins.

Canajoharie 3, Fort Plain 1

CANAJOHARIE - Trevor Brownell rolled a 215-679 to lead Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Fort Plain at Iroquois Lanes.

Dakota Montayne posted a 208-543 for the Cougars, who finished with a 2,515-2,286 advantage in total pins.

Kyle Rodeo posted a 170-507 for Fort Plain.

Voorheesville 26, Fonda-Fultonville 6

JOHNSTOWN - Deanna Lee rolled games of 252 and 222 on her way to a 649 series, lifting Voorheesville to a win over Fonda-Fultonville at Perry Lanes.

Alex Paigo posted a 201-495 for the Blackbirds, while Jared Paigo had a 185-494.

Ethan Gifford led Fonda-Fultonville with a 207-535, while Lucas Squadrito added a 183-524.

Voorheesville finished with a 2,901-1,489 advantage in total pins.

Amsterdam 7, LaSalle 0

TROY - Billy McGaffin rolled a 236-670, leading Amsterdam to a sweep of LaSalle at Hi-Way Recreation.

Jacob Perry posted a 204-538 for the Cadets.

Amsterdam finished with a 3,135-2,386 advantage in total pins.

CANAJOHARIE - Kiara Putnam rolled a 182-501 to lead Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Fort Plain at Iroquois Lanes.

Amy Reedy posted a 189-474 for the Lady Cougars, who finished with a 1,969-1,703 advantage in total pins. Jade Acquilla added a 120-338 for Canajoharie.
