ALBANY - The Fonda-Fultonville boys indoor track team placed third and the Lady Braves placed fifth at a Tri County Independent Track League meet Sunday at the University at Albany.
Lindsey Therrien turned in a strong performance for the Lady Braves, winning the 55-meter hurdles with her time of 9.4, placing second in the triple jump with a leap of 31-05.75 and third in the high jump at 4-06.
Also scoring for the Lady Braves was Rebekah Hentnik, who placed third in the pole vault at 8-06.0.
Dylan DeSorbo led the Braves with his second-place finish in the 1,000-meter run in 2:58.4, and fourth place in the 600-meter in 1:32.9.
DeSorbo also ran a leg on the victorious 3,200-meter relay team with Dan Westman, Cody Fancher and Jason Klotz, hitting the line in 9:34.7.
Westman also was runner-up in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:19.8, while Ryan Park was fourth in pole vault at 11-00.0 and fifth in triple jump with a leap of 37-00.0.
Damion Freeman placed fifth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:11.3, while Christian VanAvery was fourth in the 55-meter hurdles and Zach Nizet was fourth in the long jump at 18-06.75.
