JOHNSTOWN - There will be a free energy-saving workshop Jan. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Johnstown Public Library.
The workshop will be sponsored by Cornell University and presented by Tom Kilinski, of Fulmont Community Action Agency's Energy Services Department.
The workshop can teach people how to save up to 25 percent on their energy bills and will cover the following topics:
How to reduce electrical use.
How to reduce drafts in your home.
How to reduce water consumption and save money.
Easy ways to improve the efficiency of your heating system.
Which appliances are high energy users and how to reduce their costs.
attendees will receive a free energy savings gift, a news release said.
