Anti-Safe Act rally Saturday at club

JOHNSTOWN - Assemblyman Marc W. Butler recently announced he will participate in the anti-N.Y. Safe Act rally, "The Shot Heard Throughout New York State" on Saturday at the Pine Tree Rifle Club, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

According to a news release, a symbolic shot - much like the "Shot Heard Round The World" in the opening of the American?Revolutionary?War - will take place at noon,

The program will mark the one-year anniversary of the passing of the Safe Act.

Butler, along with Fulton County Sheriff Tom Lorey, will speak at this event.

The event will be free and open to the public.
