Gary E. Lott, 41, of Fort Plain, passed away on January 5, 2014, at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Gloversville, New York, on October 2, 1972, the son of Gary D. Lott and Joanne Sweet Walters.
Gary is a lifetime resident of the area and attended Gloversville High School. He was last employed by Antonucci's Produce in Gloversville as a truck driver until he was unable to work due to illness. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, cooking and drinking his favorite, black coffee. You could often find him on the computer playing games and he was always interested in technology. He was loved by all for his sense of humor and always being funny. Gary was a member of the Love City Fellowship Church and was touched by the music and worship. Most of all the light of Gary's life is his son, Peyton.
He is survived by his parents, Gary D. Lott of Gloversville and Joanne Walters of Fonda; loving fiancee, Robin DeFrancis and son Peyton Lott of Fort Plain; a sister, Amy Thum (DJ) of Fonda; stepsiblings, John Lott and Jessica Lott of Gloversville. He is also survived by nieces, Bella Thum, Liana Thum, Kayden Lott, Madison Lott and Jaylan Mickus.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY 12072. The Rev. Tim Cox Jr. will officiate. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery will take place after the service.
