Boys Basketball Roundup: B-P boys record first Foothills win

GLENS FALLS - Ryan Dingman connected on six 3-pointers, leading Broadalbin-Perth to a 60-48 win over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council boys basketball game Friday at Glens Falls High School.

Dingman finished with a game-high 22 points for the Patriots, who registered their first league win of the season.

Robbie VanBrocklin and Andre Taylor each scored nine points for Broadalbin-Perth (4-4 overall, 1-3 Foothills).

Jordan Green scored 16 points to lead Glens Falls (1-3 Foothills), while Clark Wooley added 10 points.

SCHENECTADY - Kory Bergh finished with 23 points for Amsterdam in a Big 10 Conference win over Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons.

Eric Robershaw posted 13 points for the Rams, who rallied from a 12-9 first-quarter deficit by outscoring the Knights 66-40 over the final three quarters.

Hector Rodriguez and Alonzo Martin each had nine points for Amsterdam (4-5 overall, 3-4 Big 10).

Jordan Igoe and Brendan Maloney each scored 18 points to lead Bishop Gibbons (0-7 overall, 0-5 Big 10).

Amsterdam is scheduled to travel to Bishop Maginn next Friday for a 6:30 p.m. Big 10 contest.
