Beverley M. Heroth, age 83, of Rockwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
She was born on March 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Roy Mowrey and Bertha Hayner Mowrey.
Beverley was a graduate of Johnstown High School and worked for several years at Superb Gloves. In 1967, she was employed as a secretary for the guidance office of the Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School District until her retirement. Mrs. Heroth was a longtime member of the North Bush United Methodist Church and the Rockwood Pilgrim Holiness Church.
She is survived by two sons, James (Paula) Heroth of Fort Plain and Jeff (Kim) Heroth of Johnstown; one brother, Perle Mowrey of Gloversville; one sister, Helen Christman of Ephratah; grandchildren, Carrie (Mike) Trimarchi, Bobbi-Jo (Scott) Heroth, Adam (Shelly) Heroth, Josh Heroth, Roy John (Shawna) Heroth, Kayla Heroth, Kolbe (Steve) Gray, Stephani (Jeff) Hill and Jordan Hill; great-grandchildren, Andrew James Trimarchi, Isabella Trimarchi, Kaylee Lynn Heroth, Brianna-Jo Miller, Roy Milton Heroth, Stephen Gray, Mason Gray, Brady Hill and Harper Hill; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beverley was predeceased by her husband, Milton F. Heroth, whom she married on July 24, 1948, and he passed on November 18, 2007; two brothers, Kenneth Mowrey and Anson Mowrey; and two sisters, Inez Mowrey and Grace Arnst.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown, with the Rev. Kenneth Sickler officiating.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Friday, January 3, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ephratah Rural Cemetery in the spring.
