CANASTOTA - The Dolgeville volleyball team took home first-place honors Saturday at the Laidlaw Volleyball tournament.
Dolgeville posted a 10-2 record in the Round Robin tournament and won top honors by a tie breaker over Tully, which also posted a 10-2 record on the day.
Dolgeville's Taylor Brandow was selected tournament MVP. Also named to the all-tournament team were Dolgeville's Courtney Rachon and Mikey Rubas; Tully's McKenzie Murphy and Hannah Leva; Whitesboro's Madison Kosuda, Victor-Verona-Sherril's Samantha Kogut, Oneida's Summer Lancette and Chittenango's Claire Charde.
Brandow finished the tournament with 27 kills, 13 digs, four blocks and 17 assists, while Rachon had 34 assists, 21 digs and 12 kills and Rubas had 15 assists, 15 kills and 26 digs.
