Lights on for Life Day is a symbolic way of focusing on impaired driving. This Friday, please drive with your headlights on. This day's purpose is to recognize those who have been killed or injured by impaired drivers. It is also a reminder to the public that alcohol and drug-related crashes can be prevented.
We want to encourage each other not to drive under the influence because of the danger it puts others in. The Positive Options Project at Gloversville High School hopes to see the public participate in this day's activity.
Lights on for Life Day will be held Friday. It would be greatly appreciated if the public shows their respect and honors those who have suffered harm from an impaired driver.
