Salvione competes at Hartwick College

ONEONTA - Johnstown graduate Justin Salvione, a senior at Hartwick College, recently completed his final year on the Hartwick football team.

Salvione played in all 10 games for the Division III Hawks at the outside linebacker position. He registered 32 tackles on the season. He had 18 solo tackles, 14 unassisted hits, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks for 20 yards, two passes defended, and a season-high six tackles each against Salisbury and Buffalo State.

Salvione attended Johnstown High School. He lettered in football, basketball and lacrosse at JHS. In high school, he was named to the all-New York State fourth team and Section II Class B first team. He is the son of Lori Miles and Kevin Salvione. Salvione is a sociology major at Hartwick.
