Pair face charges after assault: police

ST. JOHNSVILLE - A man and woman were arrested after the two assaulted and threatened a person at a home on East Main Street, village police said.

Joshua Cook, 21, of Fourth Ave., Frankfort, and Rhonda Lewis, 34, of Washington Street, St. Johnsville, were charged with second-degree assault, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree intimidating a witness.

Lewis faces an additional charge of first-degree menacing, while Cook also faces charges of second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

They were charged last month. Both were arraigned and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
