Louise A. Fox

Louise A. Fox, age 78, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the Mountain Valley Hospice House, Gloversville surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 11, 1935, in Northville, the daughter of the late Walter Roblee and Pauline Richardson Roblee.

Louise was a graduate of Johnstown High School and was first employed at Beechnut in Canajoharie and also worked for many years at the Transportation Department of the Greater Johnstown School District until her retirement. She was a member of the Sammonsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and was a Fulton County Elections Inspector. Mrs. Fox enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and was an avid NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhardt Jr. as her favorite driver.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debra Korona and her husband Timothy of Perth and Shari Harwell of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Adrienne Orende, Timothy (Randi) Korona Jr., Christopher (Sara) Korona and Shawn Korona; four great-grandchildren, Teegan, Maya, Camden and Beckett; two nephews, Jeff Roblee and Jim Roblee; special friends, Brenda and Stanley Allen, Lois Munson and Linda Dolan; and her pets, Speedy and Rueger.

She was predeceased by her husband, William V. Fox, whom she married on November 5, 1971, and he passed on February 26, 2010; and one brother, Louis Roblee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, December 14, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown, with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
