H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown sweeps Glens Falls, 4-0

JOHNSTOWN - Morgan Ruggeri had a high game of 237-678, leading Johnstown to a 4-0 win over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match at Perry Lanes on Monday.

Josh Fuller finished with a 237-678 for Johnstown, while Jimmy Marshall rolled a 216-612. Jay Hadcock added a 219-611 for the Sir Bills, while Ben Empie posted a 202-567.

Erin Ryan led Glens Falls with a 167-458.

Johnstown (17-3 Foothills) finished with a 3,555-2,384 advantage in total pins.

South Glens Falls 3, Gloversville 1

GLOVERSVILLE Nick Fuller finished with a 243-632, leading South Glens Falls to a Foothills Council win over Gloversville at Arterial Lanes.

Jarrett Morris posted a 288-616 for the Bulldogs, while Justin Gillingham rolled a 211-614.

Richard Taylor paced Gloversville with a 214-676, while Tim Hoose finished with a 230-572. Seth Weeden added a 192-519.

South Glens Falls finished with a 3,422-3,103 advantage in total pins.

Hudson Falls 4, Broadalbin-Perth 0

FORT EDWARD - Kobey Boyer rolled a 248-653, leading Hudson Falls to a sweep of Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council match at Broadway Lanes.

Zack Weller posted a 258-644 for the Tigers, while Brian Barrett registered a 213-607.

Colin?Kelsey and Matt Gardner each had 557 series for Hudson Falls (13-7 Foothills), which finished with a 3,516-3,235 advantage in total pins.

Matt Frisch led Broadalbin-Perth with a 236-576, while Chris Smith posted a 203-554. Nick Scavia had a 216-552 for B-P (7-13 Foothills), while Jordan Holik added a 189-536.

Fonda-Fultonville 26, Cohoes 6

JOHNSTOWN - Ethan Gifford rolled a high game of 184 on his way to a 507 series, leading Fonda-Fultonville to a win over Cohoes at Perry Lanes.

Rob O'Kosky posted a 170-486 for the Braves, while Jesse Hayes had a 194-475. Lucas Squadrito added a 160-454 for FFCS, which finished with a 2,654-2,284 advantage in total pins.

Burke Miller led Cohoes with a 159-416.

Amsterdam 7, Bishop Maginn 0

DELMAR Marc LaBahn rolled games of 207, 254 and 255 to finish with a 716 series, leading Amsterdam to a sweep of Bishop Maginn at Del Lanes.

Billy McGaffin finished with a 242-629 for the Rams, while Brendan McGillin added a 233-617.

Joe Spagnola rolled a 223-602 for Amsterdam.

JOHNSTOWN - Autumn Rivet rolled a 173-470, leading Cohoes to a win over Fonda-Fultonville at Perry Lanes.

Madison Dunn posted a 154-442 for Cohoes, which finished with a 2,239-1,650 advantage in total pins. Esther Jewett added a 155-396 for the Tigers.
