Taylors celebrate 50 years

December 8, 2013
The Leader Herald

Janice and Warren "Skip" Taylor of Northville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an evening of dinner and dancing with family and friends at Lanzi's on the Lake and spent their anniversary date with family.

They were married on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 28, 1963. The former Janice Wlodarek, a South Bend, Ind., native and "Skip" Taylor, from Auburn, Cayuga County, met at Indiana University while playing bridge. She gave up her seat so he could play a hand, and they've been partners ever since.

Both worked in management-administrative positions in state government agencies. Janice Taylor retired in 2003, and "Skip" Taylor retired in 2005.
