H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown sweeps Scotia-Glenville

JOHNSTOWN - Jay Hadcock rolled a high game of 258 on his way to a 685 series, leading Johnstown to a 4-0 win over Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council bowling match Wednesday at Perry Lanes.

Alyssa Hadcock posted a 238-663 for Johnstown, while Josh Fuller recorded a 259-636. Jimmy Marshall had a 246-612 for the Sir Bills, Ben Empie recorded a 232-609, and Morgan Ruggeri added a 213-586.

Johnstown finished with a 3,791-3,242 advantage in total pins.

Queensbury 3, Gloversville 1

GLOVERSVILLE - Mat Schweigardt finished with a 278-707 to lead Queensbury to a Foothills Council win over Gloversville at Arterial Lanes.

Marc Lambert posted a 226-663 for the Spartans, while Drue Whaley had a 224-570.

Nick Ferrara led Gloversville with a 234-627, while Tyler Quinones posted a 211-576. Mason Hoye added a 196-564 for the Huskies.

Queensbury finished with a 3,249-3,211 advantage in total pins.

Broadalbin-Perth 3, South Glens Falls 1

AMSTERDAM - Ricky Munchbach rolled games of 235 and 203 on his way to a 631 series to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a Foothills Council win over South Glens Falls at Kelly's Imperial Bowling Center.

Chris Smith posted a 217-574 for the Patriots, while Jordan Holik registered a 212-550. Matt Frisch added a 204-538 for B-P, which finished with a 3,249-3,158 advantage in total pins.

Chris Rapp led South Glens Falls with a 229-588, while Michael Boyce posted a 188-556.

Colonial Council

Schalmont 28, Fonda-Fultonville 4

JOHNSTOWN - Alec Matuszak rolled a 224-614 to lead Schalmont to past Fonda-Fultonville at Perry Lanes.

Christian Lynch posted a 214-576 for the Sabres, while Derek Barkman finished with a 202-571. Mike Houseknecht added a 204-564 for the Sabres, who finished with a 3,363-2,727 advantage in the total pin count.

Rob O'Kosky led Fonda-Fultonville with a 217-548, while Lucas Squadrito added a 217-512.

WAC

Middleburgh 4, Fort Plain 0

CANAJOHARIE - Hunter Guest rolled a 248-652 to lead Middleburgh to a sweep of Fort Plain in a Western Athletic Conference match at Iroquois Lanes.

Bill Miaski posted a 214-574 for Middleburgh, which finished with a 2,717-2,388 advantage in total pins.

Aaron Honeywell had a 220-552 to lead Fort Plain.

Canajoharie 4, Duanesburg 0

GUILDERLAND - Travis Colegrove finished with a 241-664 to lead Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Duanesburg.

James Fiaschetti rolled a 277-602 for the Cougars, while Dakota Montayne added a 224-580.

Tyler Largeteau led Duanesburg with a 228-659, while Dylan Tallman added a 171-504.

Middleburgh 4, Fort Plain 0

CANAJOHARIE - Taylor Duell rolled a 151-402 to lead Middleburgh to a sweep of Fort Plain in a Western Athletic Conference match at Iroquois Lanes.

Beth Mallett led Fort Plain with a 181-450. Middleburgh finished with a 1,802-1,573 advantage in total pins.

Colonial Council

Schalmont 29, Fonda-Fultonville 3

JOHNSTOWN - Becky LaBelle rolled a 245-599 to lead Schalmont to a win over Fonda-Fultonville at Perry Lanes.

Amanda LaBelle added a 201-559 for the Sabres, while Megan Caza posted a 181-474.

Pam Congdon rolled a 126-351 to lead Fonda-Fultonville, while Cheyanne Harding posted a 129-343.
