Earl E. Wager Jr., age 64, of Caroga Lake, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, November 22, 2013.
Born on September 29, 1949, in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Earl E. Wager Sr. and Marion E. Wager.
Mr. Wager was a graduate of Mayfield High School and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed as a leather worker for local tanneries until his retirement.
Earl enjoyed doing yard work, camping, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Sweet Wager, whom he married on November 19, 1988; one son, Jason Wager of Johnstown; a daughter, Amanda Wager and companion David Flansburg of Johnstown; a brother, Harry (Debbie) Wager of Caroga Lake; one sister, Nancy (James) Smith of Gloversville; two grandchildren, Linsey Shae Wager and Gage Flansburg; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Marylou Skinner.
There will be no funeral services or calling hours.
Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
