Robinson remains councilman-at-large

GLOVERSVILLE - Fulton County Board of Elections officials said this morning incumbent James Robinson is the winner of the Gloversville councilman-at-large race.

Robinson, a Republican, led Democrat Robin Wentworth - the city's 1st?Ward councilwoman - 1,130 to 1,049, an 81-vote margin, after the polls closed Nov. 5.

Board of Election officials said this morning Robinson remained in the lead after absentee ballots were counted, winning the election 1,227 to 1,127 - a 100-vote margin.

The councilman-at-large position carries a four-year term. The salary is $3,125 per year.
