‘Suspicious’ man had cocaine: Police

GLOVERSVILLE - City police said a man was arrested Saturday for having more than a gram of cocaine.

William C. Ryle, 46, of 16 W. Eighth Ave., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Police said while officers were conducting an "ABC check" at Dave's Sports Lounge, 7 West St., a "suspicious" man was observed in the bathroom of the business. Upon further investigation, police said, Ryle was found to have 1.2 grams of cocaine in his possession.

Ryle was taken into custody, processed and held for arraignment in?City?Court.
