Boys Soccer Roundup: Battisti leads Wolves past Spa Catholic

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Playing for the third time in as many days, Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville posted a win over Saratoga Central Catholic.

Devan Battisti scored twice for the Wolves (9-5-1 overall, 9-5-1 WAC), while Johnny Vicciarelli also scored. Tristan Engle added an assist for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.

Nate Trumbull made five saves for the Wolves.

Voorheesville 4, Fonda-Fultonville 1

VOORHEESVILLE - Schuyler King scored twice for Voorheesville in a win over Fonda-Fultonville.

Sean Nolan had a goal and an assist for the Blackbirds, while Logan Hotaling also scored. Kevin Clark posted two assists for Voorheesville, while Luke Gorka had one assist.

Tristan Nellis scored the lone goal for Fonda-Fultonville on an assist from Ryan Park.

Tyler Folmsbee made 10 saves for the Braves.

Albany 6, Amsterdam 1

AMSTERDAM - Six different players scored as Albany posted a win over Amsterdam at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Jackson Leon had a goal and two assists for the Falcons, while Liam Hill, Emmanuel Ishiwe, Erick Kwizera, Denis Leon and Pa Reh also scored. Ravi Brenner and Jake Flynn each had an assist forAlbany,

Greyson Mullins scored the lone goal for Amsterdam.
