BROADALBIN - Two of the biggest events on the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District's fall calendar will take place this weekend in the village of Broadalbin and at Patriot Field. The district will celebrate homecoming today with a parade, Dodge Ram Drive-A-Thon and varsity football game against Cobleskill-Richmondville.
On Saturday, B-P will host the fifth annual Patriot Pink Out, featuring the boys junior varsity and varsity soccer teams.
Spirit Week is already in full swing at Broadalbin-Perth High School, and the celebration will culminate in a pep rally at 1 p.m. today in the Robert C. Munn Gymnasium.

At 5 p.m., the homecoming parade will begin on School Street and continue down Second Avenue and Main Street to the high school.
A variety of activities will surround Patriot Field before and during the 7 p.m. football game, including a bounce house, alumni tent, cotton candy machine and giveaways courtesy of the B-P Sports Booster Club.
Homecoming participants also can take part in the Dodge Ram Drive-A-Thon, 4 to 7 p.m. today. For every person who test drives a Dodge Ram pick-up truck, Dodge will donate $20 to the B-P Sports Booster Club, up to $5,000. There are no limits on the number of test drivers per household, but test drivers must have a valid driver's license in order to participate.
Saturday's activities begin with the Females In Training Run for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Registration is 9 to 9:45 a.m., with the 5K run starting at 10 a.m. from the Father Smith Center at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2 North St. The event also features a 5K walk and a free kids fun run.
