Girls Soccer Roundup: Lady Wolves top Northville

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Alexis Romeyn scored both goals, leading Oppenheim-Ephratah to a 2-0 win over Northville in a Western Athletic girls soccer contest Wednesday.

Addie Brundage and Jessi Hagadorn each had an assist for the Lady Wolves, who outshot Northville 22-9.

Leann Clark made eight saves to post the shutout win for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (12-3-1 overall, 9-2 WAC).

Taylor Fancher made 16 saves for Northville (6-9 overall, 6-7 WAC).

Mekeel Christian 3, Mayfield 0

SCOTIA - Macie Holmes and Lindsay McCarty each had a goal and an assist, leading Mekeel Christian Academy past Mayfield.

Nicole Pigliavento also scored for the Lady Lions.

Rebekkah Dean finished with five saves to post the shutout win in goal for Mekeel Christian.

Mayfield slipped to 2-13 overall and 2-11 in WAC play.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo 5, Fort Plain 0

BERNE - Delaney Martin finished with three goals and an assist, powering Berne-Knox-Westerlo to a shutout win over Fort Plain.

Kayla Heath had two goals for the Bulldogs, while Audrey Goodemote had an assist.

Julianna Martin made six saves to earn the shutout win goal for BKW (4-7-1 WAC).

Fort Plain slipped to 0-14-1 overall and 0-10-1 in WAC play with the loss.

Galway 8, Sharon Springs 0

GALWAY - Erica Chase scored five goals, leading Galway to a shutout win over Sharon Springs.

Kayleigh Goergen, Felicia Snyder and Shelby Suits each had a goal and an assist for the Golden Eagles, who improved to 8-7 overall and 6-6 in WAC play.

Kara VanArsdal made 13 saves for Sharon Springs (1-10 WAC).

Middleburgh 2, Duanesburg 0

DUANESBURG - Amanda Roney scored twice to lead Middleburgh to a shutout win over Duanesburg in a WAC South Division contest.

Kiera Morgan made three saves to post the shutout win in goal for the Knights (7-4 WAC).

Nicole Cassale made eight saves for Duanesburg (4-6-1 WAC).

Big 10

Amsterdam 4, Schenectady 0

SCHENECTADY - Four different players scored to lead Amsterdam to a shutout win over Schenectady.

Michaela Kilgallen, Kaitlyn Devine, Monica Rouse and Sara Mia Krzys scored for the Lady Rams.

Cassandra Robataille made four saves to post the shutout win in goal for Amsterdam (10-3 overall, 6-1 Big 10).

Nikki DiGregorio made 13 saves for Schenectady.

Center State Conference

Dolgeville 4, Cooperstown 3

DOLGEVILLE - Sarah George finished with two goals for Dolgeville in a win over Cooperstown.

Emilie Lewandowski had a goal and an assist for the Blue Devils, while Courtney Rachon also scored.

Michaline Rubas recorded three assists for Dolgeville (7-8-1 overall, 4-5-1 CSC), while Joslin Null added one assist.

Liz Millea and Jordan Silver each had a goal and an assist for Cooperstown, while Jenny Flynn also scored.

Katie Millard made seven saves for Dolgeville, while Katie Kleban had nine saves for Cooperstown.
