GHS field hockey loses to South High

GLOVERSVILLE - Emily Sharp scored twice, leading South Glens Falls to a 4-0 win over Gloversville in a Foothills Council field hockey game Monday.

Nicole Crawford and Katie Washburn also scored for the Bulldogs (11-3 overall, 10-1 Foothills), who outshout Gloversville 19-2 and finished with a 19-1 advantage in penalty corners.

Michaela Regner and Stephanie Rosa combined to make two saves to share the shutout win in goal for South Glens Falls.

Bailey Pieniazek made 15 saves for Gloversville (2-13 overall, 2-9 Foothills).
