Weather alters local schedule

Monday's stormy weather forced the postponement of several area athletic contests.

The Gloversville boys soccer team had its home game with Hudson Falls moved to today at 5 p.m.

The Northville boys soccer team had its home game with Fort Plain postponed to Oct. 15 at 4:15 p.m.

The Mayfield volleyball team had its non-league home match with Amsterdam moved to Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m., while the Mayfield girls soccer team had its home contest with Sharon Springs moved to Monday at 7 p.m.

The Fonda-Fultonville boys soccer team had its road contest at Mechanicville moved to Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Amsterdam girls tennis team had its home Class A sectional match with Scotia-Glenville moved to today at 3:15 p.m.

The Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville boys soccer team had its Western Athletic Conference contest at Saratoga Central Catholic postponed to Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

The Johnstown girls swim team had its home meet with Amsterdam postponed to Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m.

The Johnstown boys soccer team had its home game with Hudson Falls postponed with no make-up date scheduled.

The Canajoharie boys soccer team had its home contest with Galway postponed with no make-up date set, while the Wells boys soccer team had its home contest with Crown Point postponed with no make-up date set.
