Christman places seventh for Sage

NEWBURGH - The Sage Colleges' men's golf team travelled to the Knights' Invitational hosted by Mt. St. Mary College at the Powelton Club, a par-70, 6,193-yard course.

Farmingdale State took home the championship title with a score of 292 for the day and had the medalist as well as Adam Larkin posted a round of 71 after winning the title on the second hole of a playoff.

Sage finished in third place with a 312 for the day in the six-team field. Sage senior captain Richie Christman, a Johnstown graduate, finished tied for seventh with a round of 75.

Rounding out the Gators competing on the day, freshman Kevin Johnston, a Gloversville graduate, finished with a round of 80 to take 16th, while sophomore D.J. Ioele, a Johnstown) graduate, tied for 18th place with an 82.
