Woman, 60, faces drug charge: police

GLOVERSVILLE - A woman was arrested after authorities found she had nearly $13,000 in drugs and cash, police said.

Kathy M. Ryle, 60, of 258 W. Fulton St., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

On Tuesday, police said, city police officers and state police executed a search warrant at 258 W. Fulton St. At the scene, police said, investigators and detectives seized more than 5.5. ounces of cocaine with a street value of more than $11,000. Authorities also discovered $1,900 in cash, marijuana and equipment used to package and weigh drugs for sale, police said.

Ryle was arraigned in Mayfield Town Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail without bail.
