JOHNSTOWN - The following information is for the Johnstown 50 Plus Club, which is housed in the Shirley J. Luck Senior Citizens Center, 109 E. Main St.

A group will be going on a trip Monday to the Saratoga-Northcreek Railroad. They will be dinning in the dome car while viewing the fall foliage.

On Thursday, at 1:15 p.m. a guest speaker will be at the center from Walgreens, who will give a brief discussion on discounts in the store and the monthly senior day they offer.

On Oct. 14 the center will be closed; it will reopen Oct. 15.

Oct. 15 will be the last day to get a ticket for the Oct. 17 anniversary luncheon at noon at the Fox Run Country Club.

On Oct. 23, at 12:30 p.m., is a ladies day. Georgiana McInnis will be at the center to show the group how to do makeovers and the club will have a luncheon.

On Oct. 31, the club will be having its harvest dinner featuring prime rib at 5 p.m. with special guest, Steve Melita, who will carve the ribs for the seniors. Get the tickets soon for the club to plan for the number of guests.

All trips for the rest of the year are full except there are a few seats left on the bus to Colonie Mall. The planning for 2014 will begin soon.
