AHS swim team loses, 87-69

ALBANY - Albany Academy won six of 12 events on its way to an 87-69 win over Amsterdam in a girls swim meet Tuesday.

Lauren Lohmiller (200 freestyle), Sabrina Daoui (200 individual medley), Emma Hayes (50 freestyle) and Allison Stefanelli (1-meter diving) all posted wins for Albany Academy.

Albany Academy also won the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Kayla Dzikowicz won the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle for Amsterdam, while Justin Youngs (100 backstroke), Gemma Liverio (100 butterfly) and Gulianna Pritchard (100 freestyle) also posted wins.

Amsterdam also won the 200 freestyle relay.
