H.S. Golf Roundup: Amsterdam third at Big 10 tourney

CLIFTON PARK - The Amsterdam golf team finished third at the Big 10 Championships at Eagle Crest on Monday.

LaSalle won the team title with a total of 322, while Christian Brothers Academy was second with 324. Amsterdam was third with a total of 357.

LaSalle's Ben Gardinier had the low round with a 74.

WAC

Canajoharie 11, Fort Plain 4

CANAJOHARIE - Buck Anderson carded a 51, leading Canajoharie to a win over Fort Plain at Canajoharie Country Club.

Michael Balfe added a 52 for the Cougars.

McKay Nare led Fort Plain with a 52, while Isaiah Empie added a 53.

Galway 13, Northville-Mayfield 2

NORTHVILLE - Sam Uline finished with a seven-over par 43 to lead Galway to a win over Northville-Mayfield at Sacandaga Golf Club.

Jordon Fordyce led Northville-Mayfield with a 43.

Colonial Council

Fonda-Fultonville 176, Mechanicville 185

FORT JOHNSON - Luke Calkins carded a 40 to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a win over Mechanicville at Rolling Hills Country Club.

Tony Angioli and Justin Galusha each had rounds of 43 for the Braves, while Adam DeSorbo posted a 50. Jack Mulyca had a 52 for FFCS, and Alec Mahon carded a 71.

Matt Waldron posted a 41 to lead Mechanicville, while Josh Heller added a 44. Nico Dumas recorded a 47 for the Red Raiders, and Joe Papura had a 52.
