AHS girls tennis blanks Troy, 9-0

AMSTERDAM - Amsterdam won all six singles contests and all three doubles matches on its way to a 9-0 win over Troy in a Big 10 girls tennis match Monday.

Kristie Kaczmarek, Ella Dybas and Audrey Flint all won their singles matches in straight sets for the Lady Rams, while Arizona Santiago, Caitlin Gannon and Gabby DiSalvi won by forfeit.

Tessa Filiberto and Prabha Singh won at No. 1 doubles for Amsterdam (8-1 overall, 6-0 Big 10), while Madison Janetsky and Molly Monge won at No. 2 doubles. Gianna Quatrini and Amber Richardson won at No. 3 doubles for the Lady Rams.

GLENS FALLS - Glens Falls won all five singles matches and both doubles contests on its way to a win over Johnstown.

Johnstown slipped to 0-8 overall and 0-6 in Foothills Council play with the loss.
