Clara Mae TenEyck

Mrs. Clara Mae TenEyck, 84, of Gloversville, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2013. Mrs. TenEyck was born September 15, 1929, in Benson, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Georgianna Walker. Earlier in her working career, Clara worked at the former Decca Records, drove cabs, worked as a short order cook at the Truck Stop and many years ago was a cook at the former Ye Old Steak House in Broadalbin.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth LaGrange and his wife, Lisa of Virginia, David LaGrange of Gloversville, Larry TenEyck and his wife, Helen of Florida; and daughter, Diane LaGrange VanNostrand and her husband, Gary of Gloversville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and long time dear friend, John Winn. Clara was pre-deceased by her husband James, TenEyck; daughters, JoAnn LaGrange Kiel, Carol TenEyck Murray Robertson; a son, Michael James TenEyck; brother, Joe Walker; and a sister, Lena Walker Graves.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Private urn burial will take place at the convenience of her family in Chartier Cemetery, Benson.
