NORTHVILLE - The Northville Public Library will host Emmy Award winner William Guyon on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in its program room.

Guyon will present "Television's Golden Years." As part of his program, he will show a film called "The Anchorman." The film shows how a news program was put together and features Walter Cronkite, a news release said.

Mr. Guyon joined the CBS Network in 1948 and stayed there for 35 years, receiving an Emmy Award in 1955 for his work on the CBS dramatic series "Studio One." He was the technical director of the CBS News with Walter Cronkite and covered many historical news events.

The program will be free.
