Gloversville blanked by Central Valley

GLOVERSVILLE - The Gloversville Huskies came up on the short end of the final 3-0 score in a non-league contest Saturday at Gloversville High School.

Central Valley Academy, a new team combining the former Ilion and Mohawk school districts, received first-half goals from Sammy Hyde, Makayla Donato and Sam Orogan connected in the second half.

The Huskies finished with four shots on goal and one penalty corner, while the Lightning had 17 shots and 11 penalty corners.
