Amsterdam girls win pair at tourney

CHAZY - The Amsterdam High School girls soccer team won both of its games at the Mary Latremore Be The Match Classic on Friday and Saturday.

On Saturday, Catie Fedullo finished with two goals for the Lady Rams in a 3-1 win over Plattsburgh.

Madison Healy had a goal and an assist for Amsterdam (3-0 overall), while Michaela Kilgallen and Monica Rouse each had an assist.

Cassandra Robataille made six saves for Amsterdam.

Brooke Knight scored the lone goal for Plattsburgh.

On Friday, Amsterdam recorded a 4-2 win over Peru.

Healy had three goals and an assist for the Lady Rams, while Diana Constantine also scored.

Rouse and Erica Russo each added an assist for Amsterdam.

Lindsey Bushey scored both goals for Peru,

Robataille made 13 saves for Amsterdam.

Amsterdam will host Broadalbin-Perth today at 4:30 p.m. at Lynch Literacy Academy.
