NORTHVILLE - The Sacandaga Valley?Arts Network recently announced the work of Mary Cleland, a lifelong artist living in Caroga Lake, will be on display at the Northville Public Library's upstairs gallery from Sunday until Sept. 30.
A reception will be held Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome to attend, a news release said.
In the release, Cleland said "This collection is a representative body of work that has been 70 years in the making. While the majority of the paintings have been done in the last two or three years, they are a culmination of years of musings on nature; its seasons, waterways, forests, local and afar, its changing light at dawn and dusk and its many circles of weather, gardens, moods, life and death This assortment of work is my personal reaction to my life and how nature has impacted me."
