JOHNSTOWN -Four people already arrested in connection with burglaries are facing more charges, authorities said.
Fulton County sheriff's deputies on Monday reported the arrests of: Margaret E. Mulligan, 21, of Fort Johnson; Devin F. Barton, 19, of New York City; Kenneth J. Gray, 17, of Schenectady; and Jahmel I. Hamlin, 16, of Scotia.
On Monday, state police reported each was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary in the town of Perth. Troopers said the four broke into homes and stole electronics.
Sheriff's deputies issued a separate release this week stating Mulligan, Barton, Gray and Hamlin were charged Aug. 7 with felony second-degree burglary, felony fourth-degree grand larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny stemming from a town of Johnstown burglary. They were arraigned before Johnstown Town Justice Karen Palmateer and each was sent to the county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
The release said all four also were charged Monday with felony third-degree grand larceny and petit larceny stemming from a separate incident in the town of Bleecker involving a stolen vehicle and theft from a vehicle.
They were arraigned before Justice James Olson and sent to the county jail on unspecified bail.
Deputies said all four also face pending charges from a burglary in the town of Perth.
