The Committee on Human Rights will meet at the Gloversville City Hall lounge at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Discussion will center on local problems such as the water system and whether county government should take over the water departments.
Also, there will be suggestions and opinions as to the neighbor watch in the community.
A discussion will take place on how to take back our local governments so that they will represent the people. We want a county government that won't sell off public assets such as the people's nursing home or dismantle the rest of public service while continuing to fund an airport that has been called a place where the rich boys can go play with their toy airplanes.
This meeting is open to anyone interested in trying to make a difference, and we would appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Please attend and help us out on this crusade.
