Diana F. Pasho, 83, of Gloversville, N.Y., passed away on July 19, 2013, at Mountain Valley Hospice House. She was born July 13, 1930, in Gloversville, N.Y., the daughter of Edward J. and Mildred M. Hall Engel. She was united in marriage to Harold B. Pasho on July 28, 1972, and he passed away on May 3, 2007. She attended St. Faith's School in Saratoga Springs and graduated from Gloversville High School. She was a graduate of Syracuse University, North Arizona University and was first employed as the Administrative Assistant to the president of Farm Credit Services from 1974 to 1985. From 1985 to 1996 she was employed as a real estate broker locally. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, a former member of the Vestry, choir and taught Sunday school. She was a former member of the board of the Getman Home, the Gloversville Assessment Review Board, was an NRA Instructor for Women on Target, and was a Cornell Master Gardener. She was also a member of the National Rifle Assoc., the New York State Rifle and Pistol Assoc. and International Benchrest Shooters. She enjoyed Black Powder Muzzle Loading shooting, painting and .22rf benchrest target shooting.
Mrs. Pasho is survived by two sons, John Michael Kovarovic of San Diego, Calif., David J. Colt of Glens Falls, N.Y.; and a daughter, Gale A. Logan of Florida. She is also survived by four grandsons, Michael, William, Dustin and Ian; and a great-granddaughter, Elliot Anders Logan. In addition to her family, she leaves her dear friend and companion, Richard C. Johnson of Troy, N.Y.
It is her wish there will be no viewing or funeral service. Cremation took place at Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley, N.Y. Interment will take place at the Gerald Solomon National Cemetery in Saratoga. Memorial contribution may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice. Arrangements are by the Ehle Funeral Home.
