JOHNSTOWN - Five players scored touchdowns Saturday night as the Glove Cities Colonials defeated the Cortland Bulldogs 38-0 in Northeastern Football Alliance action at Knox Field.
Mark Thomas and Shuayb Banks rushed for touchdowns, while Ace Barnhill gathered in a pair of touchdown passes and Josh Mason caught one from Banks in the rout.
Alex Heath rounded out the Colonials scoring with a 55-yard punt return into the end zone.

Thomas finished the game with 65 total yards rushing, while Banks added 45 yards on the ground.
Barnhill received the ball for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while Mason had 30 receiving yards.
Defensively, Javon Jones had a sack and three tackles, while James Meher had two sacks and Marcus Pearson posted six tackles. Keith Johnson also recorded two interceptions.
The Colonials (6-2) will travel to take on the Fighting Irish of Troy next Saturday to break a deadlock for second place in the East Division before returning home to take on division leading Oneonta.
