County schedules public health clinics

JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County Public Health Department has announced the following clinics will be offered in August:?

Aug. 1 - lead testing for children up to age 5 at the Fulton County Public Health Office, county complex, Route 29. Call 736-5720 for an appointment.

Aug. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. - rabies clinic at the Fulton County Civil Defense garage, Route 29. The suggested donation is $5 per cat, dog or ferret. The clinics are open to Fulton County residents only, and proof of residency is required. Preregistration can be made prior to the clinic by calling 736-5720.

Aug. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. -immunizations at Fulton County Public Health Office, county complex, Route 29. Call 736-5720 for an appointment.

Aug. 20, 28 and 29 - a public health nurse will be available from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gloversville WIC office, 53 Church St.
