Five people charged at motocross event

CAROGA - Five young people were charged Wednesday by Fulton County sheriff's deputies for alleged underage drinking at a Royal Mountain Ski Lodge motocross event.

Deputies said the suspects were charged with consumption of alcohol by a person younger than 21, under the state Alcohol Beverage Control law.

Charged by the sheriff's underage drinking enforcement patrol were: Mwendaa Paul Ndubai, 20, of 1339 Old Trail Road, Johnstown; Dylan C. Weber, 18, of 2 Lincoln St., Fort Plain; Kobly P. Rodgers, 19, of 13 Outlet Road, Piseco; Dylan M. Roche, 19, of Route 8, Lake Pleasant; and Braylynn C. Fahy, 18, of 321 Freysbush Road, Fort Plain.

Deputies said Fahy also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

The suspects are scheduled to appear later in Town Court.
