William J. Cook, age 62, of Gloversville, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Health Care.
He was born January 1, 1951, in Amsterdam, the son of Margaret Krofft Cook and the late Norman Cook.
Bill is survived by: his son, David Cook of Franklinville; his mother, Margaret Shibley of Johnstown; two sisters: Joanne Maxson and Rise VanNostrand of Virginia; three stepbrothers: David E. Shibley, Brian Shibley and John Shibley; four stepsisters: Amy Brand, Joyce Weber, Susan Claus and Maria Fannone; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.
He was predeceased by: his father, Norman Cook and stepfather, David A. Shibley.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 15 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
