FORT PLAIN - NBT Bank of Fort Plain at 41 Canal St. reopened for business Wednesday after shutting down because of flooding.
Staff members are serving customers while construction is under way to repair damage to the NBT Bank building.
"We are glad to resume service following the recent flooding and ask customers to pardon our appearance as we work to complete necessary repairs," Branch Manager Deanna Campione said in a news release.
The Fort Plain Office provides full branch services, including: four teller windows; a drive-up lane; 24-hour drive-up ATM; night depository; and safe-deposit boxes.
Flooding in the village June 28 severely damaged businesses and residences. The village continues to clean up from the damage.
