Man chased person with knife: police

GLOVERSVILLE - A man was arrested Monday after he chased another person while holding a knife, city police said.

James Stouter, 24, of 34 Grand St., was charged by city police Monday with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Police said Stouter had a disagreement with another person and chased them on Elm Street while brandishing a knife in a threatening manner.

He was arrested and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $2,500 bond.
